This area in quiet Waynesville does an excellent job of showing off the area's natural beauty. There's an abundance of wildlife, waterways, and vegetation. Plenty of space for a brisk hike or a drift down the river on an intertube (though you'd have to bring your own). There's no fee to enter and is great for families looking for an easy and cheap outing.
