My mom came here with her car. The two guys that worked on the car explained exactly what was wrong and what steps they took to fix it. Not only did they fix the original problem, they fixed the cause as well. I do the simple work on my mom's car like changing the battery, alternator, water pump, oil or the thermostat (I'm kind of a "wannabe" grease monkey myself), but I leave the more complex work to the professionals, and I would highly recommend Bogg's for this type of work. They're a little more expensive than other places, but I would much rather spend the extra money and feel confident that the problem won't happen again. Overall, I feel my money was well-spent. I dont usually write reviews but this place deserves one. They were friendly and polite when i dropped my car off at 9am. By three they had found and fixed the problem with my car and explained what happened. Rating 5 stars for service and speed.
I’m a soldier (originally from Oklahoma) and until recently I was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. I took leave to attend a wedding back home and—because some things seem to happen at the worst times, I guess—my vehicle broke down not more than a few miles outside of St. Robert. I called a wrecker service to come and pick up my car and then called no less than half a dozen different service stations in the area. Each time they gave me the same variation on an excuse, “no, sorry, we won’t even be able to get your car in until the middle of next week,” or the more truthful, “we are about to leave for the weekend;” I was reduced to pleading with a few of them. Then, by that time in desperation, I called Boggs Automotive in Waynesville. I was almost floored when Tracy said that I would not only be able to leave my vehicle there but that he’d be able to take a look at it. Once I got back a couple of days later, he had already found out what the problem was and taken photographs of the damage caused by another service station out of state. I had to replace the engine, and he was able to find a used one that struck an excellent balance between price and miles. He quickly replaced my engine at a minimum cost and kept me updated on his progress. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate his help, and I would recommend Boggs Automotive to anyone.
