One of the best southern restaurants in Missouri. The atmosphere and food are great. If you’re stopping in, definitely make your way down to Honey Chile’ Please.
Had the crawfish boil with sausage, corn and potatoes. So delicious!!! Also had the fried chicken and catfish with greens and sweet potatoes. So flavorful and well season!!! Best place in town for good ol' comfort food!!
LOVED IT!!!! A MUSTvisit, amazing moist perfectly breaded catfish, fried okra, perfect red beans and rice, and the freshest smoothest blueberry cheesecake. The atmosphere is that of welcoming you as family, truly a gem of a place. It is family owned and operated which are the best places. I travel often and always seek out the best destination restaurants, this is one for the books. I will be back. Their menu changes daily and they are only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (mind you the perfect business model). I was able to visit with the owner/chef and her family, truly genuine and down to earth, I could have visited with them for hours! I'm glad I have a few more weekends to find my way back there! Bravo and very well done, many blessings for great success!
I love how the menu changes on a daily basis. The flavor that are fused together are unbelievable. We had the Beer Braised Ribs with Chipotle Sweet potatoes were amazing. I also ordered a slice of Old fashion Buttermilk pie and it tasted just like my mother used to make. My wife had the catfish and it was fried golden and crisp to perfection , the Chicken wings were seasoned to the bone. The mac and cheese was the creamiest I have had in a long time, greens were seasoned on point. This is the best Southern Style Restaurant in this area and they do it well.
The service here is amazing and the food is phenomenal. The restaurant Decor is very quaint and cool with all of the Rustic and old items on display.
